The Magi are a race who hold the ability to manipulate the elements. Most of them have been born with the power of one element or the other. Those born under the 10 elements find their native elements spells easy to preform while the opposing elements spells are near impossible to preform. They also generally have personalities relating to their element. One oddity are those born with void. While very rare they have immense power and can cast even the most costly spells with ease, however this power does not come without cost. Those born with Void in their soul are destined to destroy everything they touch and can never be happy.
The history of the Magi race has been mostly lost to the centuries however it is known that they first appeared about 1,000 years ago at the same time that the 10 gods did. If this is coincidence or not is unknown, but the most powerful of the mages claim to be able to talk with the god of their element and call forth its power to aid them.
